"Two mothers are accused of standing by and doing nothing as their 12 children were physically and sexually abused by their father in what's being described by authorities as a secret 'cult.'
The sickening allegations involving Washington dad Melford Warren Jr., 43, led to one deputy calling it 'one of the worst cases of abuse we've ever seen,' Q13 News reported.
'These children were held against their will, denied nutrition, denied medical care, and physically and sexually abused,' Scott Wilson, of the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, told the station after asserting his claim.
Detectives say Warren's children, ranging in age from infanthood to 13, were taught to hide the abuse and never speak with police."
