Woman Sentenced for Sexually Assaulting 12-Year-Old Boy

READING, Pa.— A 25-year-old woman who said she was seduced by a 12-year-old boy has been sentenced to one to 10 years in state prison.

Gloria Lynn Baker, who is married and nine months pregnant with her husband's second child, pleaded guilty Wednesday to statutory sexual assault. Prosecutors dropped a statutory rape charge, which carries a mandatory five years in prison, in exchange for the plea.

Police said Baker was estranged from her husband and living with another man when she had sex with the boy last year. Authorities said the boy, who lived nearby, befriended Baker's boyfriend and the two played video games.

Baker told police the boy seduced her and admitted kissing him once before they had sex. She will be eligible for parole after serving one year.
