David Malakoff, a former National Public Radio editor, pled guilty to felony child pornography possession charges Monday, according to the Smoking Gun.

He is the second D.C. media figure to get charged with child porn possession in recent months, as Aaron Bruns, Fox news producer, was charged in February.

The Smoking Gun reports the following:

Malakoff, who until this June worked as NPR's science editor and an on–air correspondent, was charged in U.S. District Court in Washington D.C.

The court documents revealed that he had more than 150 child porn images and video clips on his laptop.

The material was discovered by an IT worker at NPR.

Malakoff allegedly downloaded the illegal material in April 2008.
