Minnie the Pit Bull at 4 1/2 months...

She was saved from a shelter on the west side of Chicago where even police officers were refused pit bull adoptions because of the frequent dog fights in the neighborhood. Once Minnie was shipped to the West Loop Canine Club—thanks to the efforts of Ann from the Lake Shore Animal Shelter—she was adopted by Zak Mucha and Bridgette Bramlage.

Minnie spends her days chewing knucklebones and bounding head-first into the furniture. She has, so far, attempted to declare war on the kitchen ceiling fan and a couple of storefront wooden Indians on Wells Street.
