Hurley is a Bassett Hound with a incredible nose. She believes that she has been put on earth for three activities:

1) Stealing
She is an absolutely incredible thief. It appears that she is actually capable of deception, a trait that is not common to canines.

2) Sleeping
Bassett Hounds are so lazy it is difficult to even get them to breed. Witness the picture at left.

3) Tracking
Her sense of smell is unbelievable. As lazy as she is, when she gets on a scent she will pursue her prey until either she or her target is totally exhausted. She will ususally be the exhausted competitor because of her extremely short legs. These characteristics make Bassetts very proficient rabbit hunters.
