Dead and Gone: The Chocolate Book During a recent tour stop in Chicago, the Four Seasons presented Andrew Vachss with a ten-pound chocolate reproduction of his novel Dead and Gone. The gourmet treat was displayed at the Centuries & Sleuths event in Chicago before being delivered to the Gads Hill Center, a social settlement on Chicago's South Side whose mission is to improve the living conditions of the neighborhood and to assist and stimulate the people of the district through education, helpful recreation, wholesome social intercourse, and neighborly cooperation. Mr. Vachss sends his thanks to the Four Seasons for this delicious gift; to Lou Bank of Reading In Motion for transporting the prize; and to Christine Wardynski of Licensed For Life for providing the photograph. |
